Richard Eustis Announces Bid for State Representative

Medway- Attorney and proud parent, Richard Eustis announced that he will be a candidate for State Representative in the open 10th Norfolk District. Eustis a Republican, kicked off his campaign last Wednesday at 3 Restaurant in Franklin to a crowd of over 75 people.

“When news broke, that our current State Representative Jim Vallee would not be seeking reelection, I was immediately encouraged by friends and family to pursue this unique chance to serve my community as Franklin and Medway’s State Representative. Following the immediate and overwhelming show of support, I decided along with my two daughters that this was the right moment at the right time. We are going to run,” stated Eustis.

“I intend to work every day for the people of Franklin and Medway to increase local aid for our community, promote economic development locally and support our great public schools. I will be an opponent of government waste in any form because every dollar wasted by the government is a dollar taken away from those who truly cannot help themselves,” concluded Eustis.

Richard Eustis is a Medway resident and proud father of two daughters, Erica and Morgan who both attend Medway public schools. He is currently an attorney in self practice who was elected to run the Bar Advocate program of Worcester County, where he supervises over 200 private attorneys. A former State and Federal Prosecutor, Mr. Eustis was also an officer in the U.S. Navy, obtaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander, where he received an honorable discharge. The 10th Norfolk District includes the Town of Franklin and precincts 2, 3 and 4 of the Town of Medway.
